Heres how I plan to save:
- I will put 10% of my paychecks and round to the nearest dollar. Sounds small and many stupid but if I succeed that's roughly an extra $12 by the end of the year!
- This doesn't mean I can't spoil myself throughout the year. If I reach certain amounts I will try to give myself a reward either buying myself something. Or if the motivation is on fire I will add maybe 11% or 12%! It all just depends how I kick my butt to do this!
- I will write down how much my paychecks are to the penny and how much I put into my savings. At this moment I work two jobs and sometimes babysit, that means I will be putting back from three sources. I think I can do this! Then the other 90% takes care of gas and any other things I am wanting to buy then.
- Lastly I will not beat myself up at this. Its saving for now, I may not always put it in on time or the correct amount. This is just my goal for this year and how I plan to succeed.
How do you save? I would like to know! I have seen the 52 week challenge, I had thought about it. Then again I don't want to follow a chart. If you have succeeded saving over a long period of time let me know what you did and how it went!
